Knights Of Columbus Council #1913
The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization founded by Father Michael J. McGivney 1882. Presently the Knights of Columbus have over 1.6 million members. The Knights are dedicated to the four principals of our order: charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Annually, the Knights, at all levels of the organization, contribute approximately $110 million dollars and 55 million service hours to charities. The knights are the proud, sole sponsors of the worldwide broadcast of the Holy Father's Christmas Eve and Easter Vigil Masses. The St. Paul's Knights Of Columbus Council #1913 was chartered in 1918 in honor of St. Aloysius Gonaza. Our Knights serve the parish as lectors, Extraordinary Ministers, sacristans, ushers, cantors and choir members. The Knights raise money through such projects as breakfasts, old settler's food booth, Lenten dinners, golf tournaments, Mother's Day flowers, Right to Life Baby Shower/Life Savers and Tootsie Roll Drive programs. The funds are used to support projects within our parish and community. During the 2002/2003 fraternal year, council #1913 contributed over $21,000 and 5000 service hours to our parish and community. Men, 18 years and older, are invited to join the Knights of Columbus. Please visit our website at www.kofc1913.orgfor more information.
