Baptism
Required preparation classes are held monthly for both parents and godparents. They are encouraged to attend prior to the birth of the child. Please contact the office ( 913-764-0323) for further information.
Marriage
Couples are asked to contact the pastor or coordinator at least six months prior to the date of the marriage.
Reconciliation
Saturdays 3:30 to 4:30 PM or by appointment.
First Reconciliation
Parents Must Attend General Parent Meetings, Including One With The Pastor In The Fall, (When The Religious Education Classes Begin) To Help Prepare Their Child, In Second Grade Or Older, For The Celebration Of This Sacrament. Children Preparing For Their First Reconciliation Must Attend Religion Classes.
Annointing of the sick
In case of sickness or pending surgery, please contact the parish office rergarding the "anointing of the sick." When admitted to a hospital, please request that you be listed as Catholic and a member of St. Paul Parish.
First Holy Communion
Parents must attend general parent meetings, including one with the pastor in February, to help prepare their child for this sacrament which follows the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Classes are mandatory for children seeking First Holy Communion.
Confirmation
All students in grades eight or above wishing to celebrate the Sacrament Of Confirmation need to participate in the regular Religious Education classes or be a student in our Parish School. Fr. John Torrez would like to meet with all candidates before Confirmation.
Holy Orders
We encourage our young men to consider the priesthood, and we ask our families to encourage their sons, brothers, and friends to be open to the seminary.
