Religious Education Program (SOR)
Religious Education available to out students attending public school grades K - 8 or high school depending on Confirmation studies.
Program Sessions :
RCIC for students grades 4 - 7missing the studies and receiving sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Each sacrament will require a 6 week study on scheduled Sunday's from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Enrollment into regular grade level session required.
Tuesday for K - 6 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Wednesday for K - 6 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Wednesday for 1st and 2nd Year Confirmation from 6:30 PM to 8:00 Pm.
Important Reminder: All students studying for Confirmation will be required to complete two years of study. This is done in our 7th and 8th grade Junior High years. We also accept High School Candidates with the understanding they will be in the program two years.
Religious Ed. Registration 2009-2010 School Year
Religious Education Registration for Current Students/Families: If your student just finished this years session, then each student will be automatically wnrolled into their nect grade level for the 2009-2010 term. These forms will be ready for review, changes, and payments the weekend of July 18th and 19th before and after all weekend Masses. Please stop by the table.
Religious Education for NEW Students/Families: The times for new family registration are Tuesday, June 23 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM; Tuesday, June 30 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM; and Wednesday, July 1 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Please be prepared to complete forms, with baptismal and sacramental records per student and make a 25% minimum payment. We will not turn any one away. For special circumstances please speak with Mary Mashek at the Religious Education Office at (913) 764-0323 ext. 119.
First Communion Pictures
First Communion Pictures are available in the back of the church after all Masses. They are sorted by First Communion Mass date and time.
